Junie's National Bowling Tournament Entry

Thank you so much for all you prayers & support for Junie, we were in Vegas, April 1-6, for the ABT (Amateur Bowlers Tour) NATIONALS.. we believe that GOD gave him this gift of sports thru bowling, & HE has been using this gift as a channel of blessings to us before and we asked HIM to use it again...

Again, our faith was tested, the money that his sister gave for the entry fees are slowly running out, I just stayed in the room praying for him, I can't stand the pressure..hehehehe!!

But GOD provided for us on the time that we needed His provisions.. PRAISE GOD for he finally qualified for the semis.. after his 3rd entry.... BUT GOD works in a different way, as  I was having my devotion..sabi po dun,

GOD ALWAYS ANSWERS THE PRAYERS OF HIS' CHILDREN..BUT ITS NOT ALWAYS "YES", sometimes HIS answer is "NO" & "WAIT".. just like when the Lord Jesus asked the Father to let the cup of suffering pass over Him, GOD the Father said no, because there was no other way for our salvation....

GOD KNOWS FAR BETTER THAN WE DO WHAT IS BEST FOR US.THANK GOD EVEN WHEN HE SAYS "NO" or "WAIT"..HIS' ANSWER IS ALWAYS PERFECT....

Kasi po, our prayer was if Jun wins the first place, God is affirming our desire in our hearts to go back to the Philippines, because if we have the $53,650, which is the 1st place price money, it would be enough to pay all our debts here plus we have enough pocket money to go home and help his family run their christian school in antipolo. Jun's sister is offering us to run the school canteen and Jun would be a big help in the maintenance & construction works of the school..so knowing these, we asked for GOD's WILL to prevail... We just thought of this because winning the first place won't be easy for him, coz, aside from the fact that there are 2000 bowlers all over & from diff. states, some bowlers have really high handicaps ( these are scores added to your main scores you do on the game, lower handicaps means good bowlers, they give chance to other bowlers who don't score that much that is why their handicap scores help them to be in line with the good bowlers) that is how amateur bowling is, unlike the professionals, they don't follow this handicap rules ( i think!!) anyways, to make the story longer....este, shorter pala..

He made it through the semis....

He left standing on the 94th place out of the 2000 bowlers from different states...

We praise & thank GOD, coz He continually provided for us... He just got back all the entry fees he paid....GOD is really good, even though He answered "no" & "wait", we are not losing hope and there is this peace in our hearts that even though things don't always work out the way we plan, if we commit our ways to Christ and walk in obedience with HIM, we will discover that HIS PLANS ARE ALWAYS THE BEST!!!

And we are continually thanking GOD for having all of you as our dear family here in the US...we love you all!!!! Thank you so much!!!! May these short testimony be an encouragement to all...
