Dear New Hope Family,

Happy New Year! Have a prosperous 2010, for Christ's sake (remember our message for the 1st Sunday of the year)!

I would like to post here the email messages I received from the pastors who received and distributed the relief boxes we sent them back in November. They received it before Christmas, in time to help alleviate the loss they suffered during the floods and landslides.

1. From Ptr. Rully Taculod of Peacemakers Church in Cainta, Rizal.

Dear Pastor Eric and Sis.Ruth,
We just want to greet you a prosperous NEW YEAR to all children of the Lord, and also give our greetings to all of our brothers and sisters who shared their blessings to us. Really many people enjoy the blessing that you send to us.   In 6 boxes that we received many people enjoy, in 1 box not only one family enjoy the blessing but they also shared it to their family and some in their neighbors who needs relief. You are really a blessing to us, and we appreciate all your effort sending that boxes to us. The Lord is always good to his children, He protect us from all danger and harm during the typhoon and floods. The floods went up to 10ft high right here where we stay, all of our things in the house and in the church are all wet and some are damaged because of the muddy floods. We cannot go somewhere to save ourself but to go up to the ceiling of our church. We stay there for 3 days in the dark no electric but we have only one flushlight, lots of mosquitoes and lots of dustmite. Pastor Rully got un idea, we pray and we start building a room or we called it atik in the ceiling of the church also a prayer room. We are start building it now, since we don't have a house yet we can put all of our things there now. Please include us in your prayers, we are praying this year we can build a Pastoral House for my family. Actually we have only 2 bilogical children, but the Lord give  us a  lot another 7 more adopted sons and daughters. They are really a blessing to us, our youngest is now almost 4 years old this coming April 24, her real mom is a victim of rape they don't want to keep the baby, instead of abortion we take take of her and we keep the baby. The baby is cute and active we treat her like our own child, they are precious in the Lord. This is only one of our ministry the Lord allow us to do, we are also involved in taking care of GANG the youth in the streets. Next time we can shared it to you, please don't forget us in your prayers. We have a lot of activities this week, almost 2 weeks now everyday we're always busy, we need to go now to another activities. The Lord bless you more abundantly and your family.
